There was a period of time in my life when I loved to be on the East Frisian Islands during summertime. These islands are part of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. The extensive mudflats between the mainland and the islands make this area very special in ecological terms. But more than that, the islands are romantic places for lovers. This song has been written back in 1990. It reveals that some summer before I had not been alone on vacation. So this tune speaks for itself. The information that I might add is that indeed the wind someday did what I wanted her to do. And I should be honest that the photography for the album has not been taken on an East Frisian Island but on a beach in Mexico.
