TELL ME
"Tell Me" by Ralf Beitner is a deeply moving anti-war song that questions the role of politics in conflict without being didactic or preachy. Instead, the song expresses a plaintive lament over the devastation caused by war. While the lyrics acknowledge that the goals of war—such as defending democracy and freedom—can be noble, they emphasize the immense suffering and pain that war inflicts, suggesting there must be other ways to resolve conflict.
The song is an appeal to political leaders to seek alternative "keys" to solving issues, as too often, military actions end in unintended tragedy. Musically, the drums in the interlude evoke the military theme, while each chorus concludes on a powerful high note with the haunting refrain: "See how it ends." Through its emotional depth, "Tell Me" resonates as a cry for peace.

The third verse reveals a profound realization: the moon's light is merely a reflection of the sun, embodying hope for a new day when the sun will rise again.
Amy Lungu's violin plays longingly, swelling with an orchestral quality that fills the space with both tenderness and power. The song is delicate, yet brimming with strength, gradually building to a magnificent instrumental climax that leaves listeners in awe.

FIRST ONE IN MY LIFE
"First One In My Life" by Ralf Beitner is dedicated to his first true love, which began when he was 16 years old. Back then, he fell in love with a wonderful 15-year-old girl. He wanted to write a song for her, but somehow, he just couldn’t make it happen. As life goes, time passed, and they lost touch.
Around his 50th birthday, something unexpected happened: she suddenly reached out to him on one of his social media profiles, asking if he remembered her. First love, first kiss. Of course, he remembered instantly, and that gave him the chance to finally write this song for her.
