on the early Christmas eve

and told me it was morning over there.

Half the world away from her

the lights already burned.

Christmas feelings need someone to share.

I wish I could be over there for Christmas

I wish I could be with her not just phone.

because nothing feels as lonely as Christmas all alone.

She said that it had snowed there

just in time for Christmas day

and even in her warmest clothes she's cold.

So in my mind I's lying there

in Cleveland by her side

warming up her fingers and her toes.

What's the sense of Christmas?

What's the purpose of that time?

It's just being with the ones you love!
