When we reflect our own motivation and therefore listen carefully to ourselves we may recognize that there is not only one voice inside of us that guides us. Very often there are different intentions and even some contradictions that let us struggle to decide what to do. I read an interesting book about that in which the author gives a practical advice. He says a good way to deal with such a situation is to give names to the different voices and let them communicate with each other like actors on an inner stage. The expectation is that after the "discussion" the right behavior is clear. So I named the voice inside me who calls me steadily for making music. In this song, he appears in some mirrors in the course of the day and invites me to interrupt my work for spending some time playing my music. Good idea.
